[About the world of demons]
✅ Seven gates
There are seven gates in Japan. Behind each of these gates, there is a world of demons.
In other words, there are seven demon worlds.
Because the gates are located at the end of a maze of back roads, they are virtually unknown to humans. Humans cannot pass through the gates because they do not have horns. (The horns serve as a sort of passport.)
Therefore, it is difficult for humans to visit the world of demons.

✅ Rules of the demon world
Laws in the demon world vary from place to place.
The only thing they have in common is that the personal information of all the demons living there is controlled by a management agency, and "good deeds" are rewarded with "good deed points".
The higher the "good deed point," the more benefits the residents will receive. For example, they can buy things at a discount, receive quality education, etc.

✅ Demon Princess
Demon can become Demon Princess if they perform many "good deeds".
Once every six years, on the day of Setsubun, the female demon with the highest "good deed points" among all adult demons is chosen as Demon Princess.
The Demon Princess can be the highest authority who makes the rules of the demon world for six years.
For this reason, there are many demons who want to become it
.

There was an incident long ago when a faction that wanted to be an Demon Princess but could not become one, went to the human world to get drunk and cause trouble. For this reason, the Japanese people throw beans on Setsubun.

✅ Going out to the human world
Humans cannot see the horns of demons. However, due to the nature of the horns, after 5:00 p.m., the horns appear in the shadows. The silhouette of the shadow may reveal them to humans as demons.
In the world of demons, there is a belief that bad luck will happen if humans discover the existence of demons. Therefore, the curfew for demons is set at 5:00 p.m.
As long as it is between midnight and 5:00 p.m., going out to the human world is not a problem.

If any demon stays in the human world after 5:00 p.m., a large deduction will be made to the "good deed points" of all the demons involved.

Of course, the gatekeeper's "good thing points" are also deducted. Therefore, demons who break the curfew are greatly offended by the gatekeepers.
For this reason, demons who go out to the human world have a "microchip" implanted in their horns with GPS and listening devices that turn on only during the period they are out.

Incidentally, the gatekeepers all look alike, dressed in maid's uniforms and carrying peashooters.

The setting of the human world is the present day.
